Brad Woodall

Brad Woodall is the owner, and director of player and coach development at Woodall Baseball Academy.  Brad’s career includes 10 years as a professional player (Atlanta Braves, Milwaukee Brewers, Chicago Cubs) and 4 years as coach (Tampa Bay Rays, Madison College).  As a 5-year major league pitcher, he was a part of one of the best pitching staffs ever assembled with the World Series Champion Atlanta Braves (1995).  Numerous current and future hall of famers shaped Brad’s playing career and coaching philosophy.

Brad attended the University of North Carolina- Chapel Hill, graduated with an economics degree, and was an All-ACC Pitcher, Outfielder, and First Baseman.  He was an integral part of the UNC team that played in the 1989 College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska.

For over 20 years, Brad has mentored athletes all over the world, motivating and inspiring players to become better players through hard work and preparation.  He has written, “A Parent’s Guide to Pitching” and created “Pitch Like the Pros; Mechanics, Skills and Drills” instructional DVD.  He also has authored numerous articles for baseball publications.  Brad is also a TV color analyst for professional, collegiate, and high school baseball games, and a baseball analyst for local sports radio stations in Wisconsin.

Brad attended the UW-Madison Graduate School of Business, receiving a degree in Entrepreneurial Management in 2005.

Jake Hermsen

Marketing Manager
Jake Hermsen graduated in 2008 from New London High School in New London, WI where he was an all-state pitcher and outfielder. He received a full-scholarship to pitch and play outfield at Northern Illinois University. While at NIU, Jake was a 4-time letter-winner and team Pitcher of the Year in 2012. He also appeared in 67 games as an outfielder during his first 3 years as a Huskie. After Jake’s senior season he was drafted in the 28th round of the 2012 MLB Draft by the Los Angeles Dodgers. After spending the 2012 season with the Ogden Raptors in the Pioneer League, he earned a promotion to the Great Lakes Loons in the Midwest League in 2013. He concluded his career with the Joliet Slammers of the Frontier League in 2014.

Jake studied Physical Education and Health Education while attending NIU and has experience in running both college and professional baseball camps/clinics since 2008. He now lives in Madison with his wife Krista and is on the Silver Sluggers coaching staff.

Aaron Dott

Aaron Dott received Trenton’s Samuel Plumeri Sr. Community Service Award in 2013. … Signed by the New York Yankees as a Minor League free agent on June 23, 2011. … Selected by the Tampa Bay Rays in the 31st round of the 2009 First-Year Player Draft out of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. … Twice was named All-Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. … Left Wisconsin-Whitewater ranked second in school history in strikeouts. … Attended Green Lake (Wis.) High School, where he was a three-time All Conference selection and was named Conference MVP in 2006.
