All Summer Clinics are designed to improve skills, team communication, mental preparedness for ongoing improvement, and to keep players away from slumps during the season. Our Summer Camps are developed by former major league player Brad Woodall, conducted by Brad Woodall and Jake Hermsen, former LA Dodger minor league pitcher and college standout.
Woodall Baseball Academy is built upon teach players to improve their skills and work ethic, develop the mental approach to the game, and mentor players to be a respectful competitor and a great teammate…on and off the field.

WEEKLY SKILLS CLINICS
Train like the pros to improve your hitting, throwing, fielding and pitching skills. This summer, we are adding an additional component of in-season strength and flexibility for the ages 13-18 group. These clinics are designed to teach players to practice smarter, focus on the details of mechanics and fundamentals, and learn strategies to stay out of slumps by preparing for games similar to how the pros prepare.

ADVANCED SKILLS HITTING & PITCHING
Ever wondered how professional hitters and pitchers make it look so easy and have so much power. Learn the fine details of hitting and pitching mechanics…from major league player Brad Woodall. Learn how timing, body positioning, weight transfer, rotation and direction combine to result in home run power in hitting, and velocity in pitching. Pitchers will also learn various methods of taking care of and strengthening the arm for staying healthy during the season. Ages 11-18

5 TOOL YOUTH SKILLS SHOWCASE
Test your baseball skills with other players in your age group in this “showcase” style evaluation. Every player will be evaluated on the 5 tools of baseball…

All players are scored with a proven pro scouting assessment system, with quantitative scores provided in all categories so that each player can clearly see areas of excellence and improvement for their age group. This is a informative and fun instructional session for young players, similar to the Punt, Pass, and Kick contests for football.
